Systems Thinking Genealogical Directory & Resources
Welcome To The Systems Thinking Voices In Canada Website!
The time is forever ripe for the Canadian Context Systems Thinking Community to show the world who we are and continue writing our genealogical narrative together in our own words. The Systems Thinking Voices In Canada (STVIC) website aims to build a directory of systems thinkers through the full lifespan of lifelong learning, and display community resources from all branches of the Systems Thinking discipline. To this end STVIC offers a free opportunity for Canadian context systems thinkers to register in the STVIC Directory and join the STVIC Community.
As a registrant you can publish your learner activities and projects on the STVIC website as a short summary or with more specific details that can be submitted alongside or anytime after the short summary is submitted. Overall you can submit your work at your own pace and depth of detail for as short or as long as you wish. Or not at all! Registration alone in the STVIC Directory brings your human presence and unique blend of resources that build and strengthen the Canadian context systems thinking community.
The STVIC community is here for the longterm! STVIC stretches forward into the future and back into history to the period around 1937 when Systems Science became officially acknowledged as an independent discipline in modern academia. Explore the Full In Tribute Archive where you can meet Ludwig von Bertalanffy and other inspirers of this community who chose Canada to be part of their lives or were Canadian citizens from birth. This unique archive wishes to revivify our past by growing a hindsight directory of contributors when the Canadian context systems thinking community first arose. STVIC is grateful for the example set by Canadian Indigenous Peoples whose sophisticated systems awareness has been evolving for thousands of centuries in Deep Time geological memory.
